Major General Linda Lee Singh is the first African-American adjutant general of the Maryland National Guard. As a woman in a very male-dominated career, she strongly believes in mentoring other women to ensure their success. She has spoken out about sexual assault in the military and has shared her own experiences as a survivor of sexual abuse.
